A superb scale tug, typical of its kind which makes into a big imposing model. With its classic tug lines Bangarth is a superb performer on the water, but is also an equally impressive static model.
With its colourful livery and intricate detail, this is a model that always turns heads!
Prototype history (click)
Bangarth was one of the more colourful tugs owned by the Rea Towing Company of Liverpool. Built by Alexander Hall Limited, Aberdeen in 1952 with the yard number 740. Bangarth had a relatively short career, being scrapped after 18 years of service. An ideal model for those that prefer more modern lines.
