This small single screw model has been designed to operate on 2 channel radio control and dives by increasing the forward speed.
Prototype history (click)
The type XXIII were designed and ordered in 1943 as small twin (superimposed) hull vessel for coastal waters operations, the streamlines hull was built in four pre-fabricated sections and assembled on the slipway.
These small craft had a endurance of nearly 40 days, and had a high speed underwater performance, over 200 were ordered but less than 60 were commissioned into service.
